Massage Therapy

I absolutely love practicing massage therapy.  Taking time to pause. To focus on the breath and listen to the body’s cues.

Massage therapy is the foundation of my practice and knowledge, and this foundation gives me a unique insight into labor, coping techniques, and fetal positioning.  And now that I have learned more about those things, in turn, they have enriched my massage skillset!

Bringing it all back to the simplest aspect of balance, alignment, and tension can make all the difference in the world.

Fertility

Using elements of reflexology, abdominal and lymphatic massage, and craniosacral therapy to stimulate circulation, center the womb, and balance hormones.

This type of massage must be done in a series with a minimum of 3 visits.

Prenatal

Prenatal massage is my specialty!

This is the first modality that I became certified in.  Soothe discomforts and prepare the body for birth with a balancing massage that creates space for baby to get into a good position.

I offer both side-lying massage as well as face down, prone massage with a belly bolster to ensure maximum comfort for my clients.

Induction

A flowy blend of relaxation, stretching, cranial sacral therapy and reflexology as well as aromatherapy with my custom labor supporting essential oil blend is used to assist in preparing the body for labor. To enhance this experience, I recommend using my herbal birth prep tea as well.

This massage is only offered at 39 weeks or beyond, unless you have a medical induction scheduled already.

Postpartum

Giving birth is very hard work, and the postpartum period is a time of healing and restoration. Release tight hips and shoulders, soothe aching muscles, restore alignment, and re-center the womb. This massage can be received any time after birth!
