Childbirth Education
Pregnancy and Birth are amazing events, and we believe that informed choices lead to confident birthing experiences. Our classes are more than just educational sessions; they are interactive forums where you, as expectant parents, can explore the intricacies of childbirth, ask questions, and build a foundation of understanding. Led by an experienced Birth Doula and Labor & Delivery Nurse, our classes cover everything from common interventions & labor techniques to postpartum prep, fostering a sense of confidence in yourself and your support person.
Birth Preparation Class: Positioning, Comfort & Labor Confidence
A 4-hour birth preparation class designed to help you approach labor feeling informed, prepared, and supported.
This class combines the evidence-informed principles of Spinning Babies® Parent Education with practical childbirth education, helping you better understand how your baby's position, your body's anatomy, and the physiology of labor work together.
Together, we'll explore what labor typically looks like, how labor progresses, and practical ways to navigate each stage with greater comfort and confidence. You'll learn hands-on techniques that can be used during pregnancy and labor to encourage fetal positioning, support labor progress, and improve comfort at home or in the hospital.
Partners and support people are encouraged to attend and will leave with practical tools they can confidently use during labor.
In This Class, We will cover:

• Understanding fetal positioning and how it impacts labor
• Pelvic anatomy and the mechanics of birth
• Signs of labor and when to call your provider or doula
• The stages and phases of labor
• What to expect during labor progression
• Comfort measures for every stage of labor
• Position changes and movement strategies
• Partner support techniques
• Coping strategies for both medicated and unmedicated births
• Hospital interventions and common labor procedures
• Creating a flexible mindset for birth & induction methods

This class is appropriate for first-time and experienced parents and is ideal for families planning hospital, birth center, or home births.​

Participants receive class materials and practical tools they can immediately begin using throughout the remainder of pregnancy.
This 4 hour class is free for all Birth Doula Clients and
$250.00 for non-clients
