Meet The Team

I have carefully gathered an amazing team of doulas, providing mentorship and trainings that bridge the gap between your standard doula trainings and the type of support that makes The Well Rounded Belly stand apart.

Founder & CEO
Emerging Doula - Berlin Krebs
Berlin approaches pregnancy, birth, and postpartum as deeply transformative milestones that deserve to be honored with care and intention. Her own journey into motherhood revealed just how powerful and magical mothers are, and she’s dedicated to helping others recognize and embrace that strength through her doula work.
With a diverse background that spans cooking, farming, restaurant management, event coordination, yoga instruction, neurofeedback, lactation counseling, and—most importantly—motherhood, Berlin brings a rich blend of experience to every family she supports. Her work is guided by compassion, intuition, and an authentic commitment to nourishment and somatic care.
Berlin’s approach is rooted in hospitality and hands-on support, seamlessly blending education, movement, mindfulness, and practical help. She’s recently completed foundational Spinning Babies training and integrates these techniques into her doula care, alongside yoga, meditation, and nourishing meals for her clients. Lactation support and education are also key elements of her offerings.
Clients working with Berlin can expect to feel grounded, supported, and truly seen—held in a space where their needs are anticipated and their experiences are honored.

Product Manager
Emerging Doula, Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist - Gabrielle Taylor
Gabby is a postpartum doula and newborn care specialist with over four years of experience supporting families through the pivotal postpartum period. Certified as a birth doula in early 2025, her journey began well before formal training, guiding friends, family, and clients through hospital births, home births, and everything in between.
Her passion for this work is deeply rooted in her own lived experiences. Gabby has personally navigated a homebirth transfer, an emergency cesarean section, and a hospital VBAC—each journey profoundly shaping her approach to care. VBACs hold a special place in her heart, and these experiences have made her the birth advocate, educator, and compassionate support person she is today.
During labor, Gabby uses intentional movement and optimal positioning to encourage baby’s progress through the pelvis, guiding families with comfort measures, gravity, and body awareness—always honoring the birthing person’s comfort and autonomy.
Alongside her doula work, Gabby is pursuing a nursing degree to further expand the care she offers. Outside of supporting families, she enjoys spending quality time with her sons and tending her mini farm.

Emerging Doula, Postpartum Doula -
Bria Comer
Bria is a birth and postpartum doula, trained through DONA in August 2024, with additional certifications in Dancing For Birth and ongoing Body Ready Method Pro training. Her personal experiences—including pregnancy loss, infertility, precipitous labor, home birth transfer, breech birth, and emergency C-section—have all inspired her passion for supporting families through birth and postpartum.
A lifelong dancer and dance instructor since age 15, Bria also became a licensed physical therapist assistant in 2018, specializing in pediatrics. She brings a deep understanding of movement and body mechanics to her doula care, helping clients use movement to optimize birth and reconnect with their bodies postpartum. Whether it’s literally dancing during labor or fostering a mindful connection to one’s body, Bria empowers clients to trust their physiological instincts and navigate pregnancy, birth, and recovery with confidence.
Bria also draws on her seven years of pediatric PT experience to guide families in understanding infant gross motor milestones during the first year. Outside of her work, she enjoys exercising, reading, hiking with her two dogs, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Customer Support Lead
Emerging Doula - Shannon Sciortino
A fascination with birth began early for me—the first time I saw a birth video as a child, I was captivated by the magic and power of bringing new life into the world. I spent a decade advancing equity, building supportive communities, and promoting health in the nonprofit sector. As friends began their own journeys into parenthood, I found myself drawn into their stories, offering support, researching alongside them, and providing postpartum care—experiences that inspired me to follow my heart into birth work.
I completed my doula training with ToLabor and MaternityWise in 2024, and since then have supported many families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I am passionate about creating a calming birth environment, offering intuitive massage, and using creative positioning to encourage labor progress. I work closely with each family and their birth partners to foster supportive, empowering experiences.
To me, pregnancy and birth are profound adventures—opportunities to tap into strength, intuition, and community. My mission is to ensure no birthing person feels isolated or disempowered. Through holistic, evidence-based, and deeply personalized care, I help families navigate these transitions with confidence and connection.

Emerging Doula, Postpartum Doula -
Jessica Pope
Hi, I’m Jessica — a steady, nurturing presence for families as they move through pregnancy, birth, and the tender early weeks of parenting. My work is rooted in calm, intuitive support and in helping you trust your own inner knowing as you shape a birth experience that feels right for your family.
Before stepping into birth work, I spent more than a decade as a 911 Police Dispatcher. Those years taught me how to stay grounded through intensity, hold space in uncertainty, and offer clarity when everything feels overwhelming. That steadiness is now woven into the way I support birthing families.
As a mother of four, and a bonus mom to two more, caring for others has always been the quiet thread running through my life. Doula work simply gave that calling a name.
These days, I bring a blend of childbirth education, newborn care knowledge, and lactation support to help families feel informed, confident, and deeply cared for. Whether I’m offering comfort measures in labor, supporting early feeding, or guiding you through the shifts of postpartum, my intention is always the same: to make sure you feel seen, supported, and never alone.

Customer Support Lead
Emerging Doula, Postpartum Doula, Sibling Doula - Deb Couture
I’m a birth, postpartum, and sibling doula with a foundation in bodywork and holistic support. My journey began over 20 years ago as a certified massage therapist, infant massage instructor, and Reiki master. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, but supporting expectant and new mothers through prenatal and postpartum massage has always been closest to my heart. There’s something truly special about witnessing the connection between mother and baby, even before birth.
After retiring from massage work in 2022, I felt called to continue serving the birthing community as a doula. My birth doula training with The Matrona Foundation deeply resonated with me—their philosophy centers on creating an environment that invites families to witness and experience birth on their own terms, rather than managing the process. I’m also trained in Spinning Babies and hold a VBAC certification through The VBAC Link.
My postpartum doula training was completed with DONA International, further grounding my approach in evidence-based, client-centered care.
I proudly serve families in Frederick and Montgomery Counties, as well as Southern Pennsylvania near Gettysburg. My goal is to support you with knowledge, presence, and respect—so you feel empowered, confident, and cared for every step of the way.
